Welcome to Project Insight 8.1

Project Insight hosted customer sites have been upgraded to Project Insight 8.1. Installed customers may upgrade in 3-6 weeks.

Version 8.1 features & enhancements include:

  • Add custom fields on the time entry worksheet, company and user profile forms
  • Tiered timesheet approval process with seven approval options
  • Project portfolio roll-ups and sub-totaling with tertiary sorting
  • Attach receipts to expense reports for a completely electronic submission process
  • Enhanced search that allows you to search project and task status comments, issue contents and by issue number
  • Multiple file upload for Safari and Firefox browsers (MAC OS on Intel only, not PowerPC). This feature already works with Internet Explorer.
  • Easier resizing of columns
  • Tool tips or yellow 'sticky notes' now include definitions of the fields as well as formulas of the calculations
